Keep the Blackout control visible and test it before every event. The Mac app uses a native watchdog that latches an all-zero output frame if the user interface stops responding; output requires an explicit restore afterward.

Confirm fixture model, DMX mode, universe, and address on the physical unit. Test custom profiles channel by channel at low values before using scenes or AI control.

Never point lasers at people, aircraft, roads, cameras, or reflective hazards. Follow classification, scan-fail, safety-zone, mounting, and licensing requirements for your equipment and jurisdiction.

HitLight does not automate flame or pyrotechnic output during beta. Atmospheric effects, strobes, and high-intensity fixtures require responsible operator supervision.
